Visiting the Peace Pagoda is always a pleasant experience. However, I found it challenging to photograph from a new and interesting angle as I have seen it photographed many times beforehand. This was a little frustrating, but I feel the images are acceptable. One challenge I did not expect to face was the shear number of flies! In some of the shots you could quite clearly see large groups of them flying around, which I had to try and removing during the editing process.

I feel the first and second images are the most pleasing to me, even though they are basic wide shots. I tried to be more creative, but it ended up feeling like I was taking away from the Pagoda as a whole by doing that.

I strongly felt that the lion statues leading up to the Pagoda could be used to represent integrity, honesty, determination or confidentiality. I definitely prefer the middle image, which is less clustered than the others. The first is strong, but if I am to use a wide shot of the Peace Pagoda it would make this one feel a little repetitive. The middle image has strong, simple framing and really shows off the puffed out chest of the lion.

Good use of foreground elements, but the building is blocked off to much, in my opinion. There are also signs of vignetting in the upper left corner.

Strong image in terms of representing the culture and diversity of Milton Keynes, however to me it doesn't look interesting enough to the casual viewer. In all honestly it looks like a bland pile of rocks.

I really enjoy this image. It has excellent framing and the timing is perfect to present the swans in-line with the centre of the image.

I found it hard to locate a good vantage point of a roundabout in Milton Keynes. I didn't want to take an image on street level as this wouldn't give the viewer an impressionable view. Luckily there was a foot path cross bridge that closely over looked this particular roundabout. I'm glad i managed to get this shot down as it is probably one of the most iconic things Milton Keynes is known for.
